The Great Southern Region of WA is popular for its wildflowers and scenery like The Stirling Ranges (Bluff Knoll usually has some snow in the winter) and The Porongurup's (ranges) with their wine growing, bush walking. Whale watching in Albany (1 ½ hrs away). The area is known for its sheep, grains, canola and in Spring looks a treat with its vibrant yellows and greens before summer harvests. Places like Denmark, Esperance, Bunbury (3 hrs) , Margaret River, Nannup, Manjimup Mt Barker (40 mins) are all reasonably close-by. 3-4 hrs to Perth. Regional WA is showcased with Field Days, Agricultural Shows, art, food, wine and music and garden festivals and Harmony festival. Plenty to see and do.
Tambellup (known as The Town of Friendship) has a great CRC - Community Resource Centre/library. Primary school at the other end of town and high school and new hospital in nearby Katanning -40 klm (a very multi-cultural town where a new Dome is now OPEN.). We have a hotel, general store/lotto agent (up For Sale), Bendigo Bank, restaurant, PO/cafe, Landmark, Business Centre, small garage/fuel stop, Police station, Shire office and various other services. We also have a health centre (daily attended by nurse) with regular visiting GP and a nurse practitioner. There is an active CWA, new sporting complex which includes a new synthetic turf bowling green. There is a golf course/club and various other sporting clubs. Genuine reason for selling - health and family. Sorry not able to rent while selling.
